Cheap 40 Inch LCD TV
About ten years ago, Mitsubishi released their biggest monitor which was all of forty inches. It was the top of the line, and cost as much. Even then, it was worth the money to have one, plug it in, and watch your favorite shows on a big-screen. Nowadays, a cheap 40-inch LCD TV may not look as large, nor as heavy, and would not cost as much but they do deliver in terms of quality, performance and longevity.

These newer models based on a different technology from cathode ray tubes have more features which are designed for compliance with future specifications. For instance, older tube sets can only do stereo sound, whereas some models of the newer sets have 5.1 channels of sound. These units are also compliant with high-definition standards.
Migrating to a big screen home entertainment system is a big investment for the most part. But there are some components which can be affordable and would not be a hassle for the consumer to buy.
